RoboCop on Gameboy

This is the woman I was referring to in the video (forgot to add the overlay in the edit). She looks like the standard “gun baddies” in the game. Her head is a very similar shape? Prophetic? YOU be the judge. I’ll just say that her name in the show is Sarah GUNNING and leave it at that!

The title music which was made by Jonathan Dunn has had a lot of problems over the past few years. A rapper called Mega Ran used the tune to create his own song, but never told Jonathan about it.

I ran into this problem when i did a complete run through of the MSX port when Mega Ran copyright claimed my video. I contacted Jonathan and he told me about the problems he was dealing with. I don’t know if he sorted the problem out, but this Mega Ran is lowest of the low for doing this.

Here is his rap using Jonathan’s music.

The Robocop theme is indeed a fine tune – Ariston used it in one of their adverts and (having just checked I was thinking of the the right tune, a comment on youtube says that:) apparently Charlie Brooker chose it when he was on desert island discs.
The Dubstar song is ‘Not So Manic Now’ – For 30 years I completely missed the meaning of the line where she’s literally ‘thrown to the wall’, assuming it was figurative and now the title makes more sense.. Very dark.. Sort of like most of The Beautiful South’s songs.

Good to have you back George – hope your’e on the mend mate. As for this game – I always preferred it over the speccy version – simply because you can jump!
