It appears she doesn’t know what “pixel perfect” means, as the way she’s used it here suggests it has something to do with how the game looks. It’s got nothing to do with that! It either refers to the sharpness of an image used in print publications or else it can sometimes be used to refer to the accuracy of things like collision detection in game development. It has zero to do with a game’s appearance or graphics, which is clearly the way she’s used it here…

The Power ON/OFF SWITCH has suddenly morphed into a button????

Blimey love, if you can’t even distinguish between the 2, then a book about video games is not one she should be attempting to write..

Or write a book period.

Just refund the money Octavius, it’s never going to happen.

She has 373 monthly patrons paying a min of £5 to her, in exchange for, as of today, 3 excuse filled posts about why she’s not done much, since October.
Theft. Absolute theft.

“an Ess enn ee ess?”

And as I was just about to say it myself, you said it – The SNES has an on Switch, not a button! She really should know that the audience she’s writing this book foot would sniff this lie out like rat piss in a rug.

Late to this party as Ive just found this site – I was wondering where the hell you’ve been hiding George!
In her defense [ takes a deep breath and steps back ] I genuinely think most – note – ‘most’ Retro gaming youtubers start out with the best of intentions, and when the viewing figures start to creep up, and pound signs look as if they could be a real possibility, then slowly but surely, you can see the style of the content change, and the candle of genuine enthusiasm slowly starts to go out.

She definitely started out with a certain channel persona in mind but twisted it into something else after realising that being the poor frail little waif with emotional problems was like catnip to the thirsty incel audience who think she’s (sorry, they’s) gettable in exchange for money and gifts.
Her twitter paints a picture. For every “oh woe is me” tweet – usually explaining why she’s not bothering to stream yet again – there are dozens of platitudes from the inevitable roster of chronic masturbators and purple bearded child-endangerers, all falling over each other to be noticed. To which, she doesn’t remotely acknowledged them. Not a like, not a reply, not even a later tweet thanking everyone for their support. She just counts the Patreon and knocks back another chablis, and merrily murders another small furry creature out of her Elmyra-esque rodent torture dungeon.

Isn’t Paul Gammon’s book about his Ghostbusters costume (which must absolutely reek at this point) in a similar state of Unbound hell? I know his tiddies aren’t quite as big as Octy’s, but he’s still an absolute bloody chancer.

Allegedly Kieran is going to write it and it comes supplied with a razor blade.

Good grief. “…you can fill the spaces between your broken pieces with gold” implies she is also… in BITS!

Someone should release a book on the rise and fall of the UK retro grifters. Ironically cash in on their shameful antics.

I’d buy it.

Use a kick starter campaign to overtly raise funds for a shit hot legal team to protect the project.

u4ria – go on gravatar.com, that’s how mine’s done.
It works fine across multiple websites.

I don’t see anything saying hi, u4ria on the website m8, its probably down to the extensions i use for privacy. I sorted the avatar out using Gravatar so all’s well that ends well,

As she’s this much of a miserable cow now, imagine her when she’s 50!
Jesus wept.
I’m 50 – last night I played Donkey Kong Country for the first time in 10-odd years and realised that a game I used to be an absolute genius at, now I’m old and crap with the reactions of a stoned sloth!
George, have you ever done a review of any Donkey Kong Country games?

Anyone having issues playing this beyond the 9:25 mark? I’m stuck using my android phone atm and no matter what browser I use it gets stuck at the bit about AN SNES power button.

Any time you feel a bit depressed about how your life’s going, just imagine being someone who funded this book.

Are they not siblings? I’m sure NN let it slip once, perhaps in the big move video where she’s grumpily unboxing stuff in the background.

Ooh-err! I was obviously way out then. I saw he appeared to have a couple of kids and a missus, even though this woman went with him on a few trips. Best to leave it there as it’s personal affairs and their offline privacy should be respected. My mistake, apologies to those concerned.

I use to think that she was his wife when i watched a few of the video with her in them, until i found out about Octavius from Georges videos about her (No, really i had never watched any of her videos because i had an idea what they would be like from the thumbnails) but hes defiantly hanging out the back of it or it is some top level “retro” conspiracy and it is in fact his wife and shes playing the character single to keep the Simps and undesirables engaged and throwing cash at her. Lets be honest he is the type to be a Cuck like Top hat twat for the subs.
